Yarning about Proper Ways is a two day workshop designed to provide participants with the basic skills to work with Aboriginal people. This highly experiential workshop will expose participants to a unique culture through pictures, photo’s and story telling. Participants will explore their own way of working and look at other ways to work alongside the Aboriginal community.

 

About the Facilitator:

Josey Hansen (B.A., Aboriginal and Community Management and Development) is the Manager of Aboriginal Services at Anglicare WA and acts as a consultant to the agency on Aboriginal issues. Josey is the Great Granddaughter of Doorum, a Nyoongar who has inspired his descendants to know and appreciate who we are, what we are and where we come from. She has a strong sense of her cultural and spiritual heritage and finds strength in both.
