Calendar (PDF) Date: Thursday 19 and Friday 20 June 2008 Duration: 2 days Time: 9:30-4:00pm Cost: $320.00 Light Lunch provided This workshop is designed for professionals currently working or desiring to work in the field of Family and Domestic Violence. It will focus on therapeutic models used to work effectively with perpetrators of family and domestic violence such as Dr Steven Stosny's Compassion/Power Model and Alan Jenkins Invitation to Responsibility within the framework of The Duluth Model. It is preferable that participants have prior understanding of the Best Practice Principles and Competency Standards of State and Federal Government family and domestic violence initiatives.
Course Outcomes
About the Presenter: Vanda Francke is a Social worker with extensive experience in the area of Family and Domestic Violence Services.
