You will be trained to provide effective help for a person developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. A hands-on action plan is taught to enable quick reference in an emergency situation for depression, anxiety, substance abuse and psychotic disorders.

The program has been developed by the ORYGEN Research Institute in connection with the University of Melbourne, accrediting the provided.

About the Presenter:

Ben Bruce is an experienced counsellor and facilitator and has experience working with individuals, couples and families affected by mental health problems. He has worked in a variety of psychological and counselling agencies, departments and research centres. Currently he is a Family Advisor at the Family Relationship Centre in Mandurah.
