Rebuilding Your Life after Separation or Divorce

This course is designed to help people move on after separation and divorce. It will help participants explore feelings, gain an understanding of the process of separation, rediscover self and learn new relationship skills.

At the completion of the Rebuilding your Life Course participants will have:

• Recognized the effects that stress has on them.
• Identified common adaptive/survivor behaviours.
• Identified the losses s they have sustained and the necessity to grieve those losses.
• Planned strategies for handling anger effectively.
• Planned strategies for building feelings of self worth.
• Identified ‘protective' masks and the need for openness in close relationships.
• Discussed how to build healthy relationships and express sexuality.
