Help for families to reduce stress from conflict between adults and adolescents.

Parenting strategies we learned from our own parents are not necessarily appropriate in the modern setting. Our programs are designed to help:

• Adults develop different ways of understanding adolescent behaviour
• All family members to understand how they communicate with each other and, perhaps, develop a more effective balance
• Adolescents understand the importance of boundaries and reciprocal responsibilities

We do this through:

• Individual counselling
• Family therapy
• Group education programs for parents and carers

This service is open to anyone in the Rockingham and Kwinana areas. To make an appointment, call 1800 620 096.

We can make home visits but the initial meeting is at our office in Rockingham.

This service is free and is funded by the Western Australian Department of Community Development.
